Hello.

I was born in the United Kingdom and have spent most of my life in the United States. My Mum + Dad brought us across the pond on the Queen Mary. With just my siblings in tow and the family dog, Rinty, my life would forever be changed. We would travel back to England on holiday every year to see family.

I attribute my creative style to my journeys in the United States and abroad. My earliest childhood memories were traveling Europe with the family. I’ve lived in the Philippines, resided in numerous places in the US, and travelled the globe as much as possible. Traveling should not be a luxury but an opportunity for every person. The lessons learned are invaluable.

My love of photography was handed down to me from my Dad. He loved cameras and as a young man travelled during his military service with the Royal Merchant Marine Navy. He collected postcards and photographs from everywhere he went. He was my inspiration. After high school, I found my happy place in the magic of my darkroom. I can still smell it.

I co-founded an Interior Design firm in Asheville. This only added to my creative eye with composition, lighting, textures, colors - everything that relates to photography. Architectural details strengthen my work.

This next chapter in my life has me seeing beyond the expected and breaking apart the structure that had been my life. I love seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary. Taking a subject and turning it on its head.

When I’m not focusing my lens, you might see me passionately practicing Pilates, walking my dogs, and spending time with my best friend + husband, Jim. We live in Asheville, North Carolina, the perfect spot for Boho charm, mountains and an abundance of beauty in nature.
