Musings.

Horses.

Horses are my soul therapy animals. I lose all sense of space and time while in their presence. From the sound of their clippty-clop hooves to the breath from their noses, they are magical. One of my favorite sayings, is “we see in color but feel in black+ white” I feel these. Deeply.

Animals.

Although I may favor horse photography, I also love dogs, donkeys, goats, cows and bears. Living where we are is sometimes being in the wild kingdom, except that we are just a few miles from downtown. We regularly have bears, turkeys, falcons, hawks, box turtles and an aviary of birds.

Landscapes.

Living in Asheville, North Carolina and a stones throw from the Blue Ridge Parkway allows me never ending options to get out and photograph.

Natural World.

If you leave nature alone enough it will take over and do what it does without human intervention. Nature doesn’t wait for us, it just finds a way to survive.
